Who We Are

Find out what Sibling Revelry is all about.

The Kennedy Brothers: Sean, Matt, Todd and Mike

WHO WE ARE

Sibling Revelry Brewing was founded by a family of brothers and cousins from Cleveland who wanted to share their passion for great beer with others. Noticing a lack of breweries in the west side suburbs, the relatives set out to create a unique taproom and drinking experience rooted right in their own backyards.

Sibling Revelry’s sophisticated taproom offers a full selection of craft beers including year-round brews, seasonal varieties, limited releases and taproom exclusives. Pair beers with a rotating selection of food trucks with great foods like sandwiches, burgers, and more.

Pete Velez

Head Brewmaster

Pete, a native of upstate New York, began his brewing career at a brewpub in Virginia. After working with the storied Brickskeller and Capitol City Brewing, Pete attended Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland for his Diploma in Brewing and Distilling. After, he became Head Brewer of Capitol City's Capitol Hill location, then spent time at Old Dominion and Gordon Biersch. He worked the last five years as an allied trade sales manager for Hopunion, LLC managing eastern North America. Pete’s time away from the brewery is spent with his wife Ellen, an Ohio native, their son and dog, Otis.

Wally Weiss

Assistant Brewmaster

Wally has over 12 years of professional brewery experience, starting as an apprentice brewer at Anheuser-Busch near San Francisco, California. During his 10 years there, he worked in various departments and capacities to learn everything he could about the brewing industry. Prior to being hired on at Sibling Revelry, Wally was the Brewery Operations Manager at Catawba Island Brewing Co. in Port Clinton, Ohio where he oversaw and managed day-to-day operations. Wanting to get back into actually brewing beer again, Wally jumped at the opportunity to start brewing for Sibling Revelry. He is an Ohio Native from Olmsted Falls, Ohio. Wally’s time away from the brewery is spent with his girlfriend, Anna, and Wally’s two boys, Gavin and Ezra.

Carol has over 12 years of brewery experience. Starting as a tour guide at Deschutes, she was quickly promoted to sales and marketing. After seven years, she relocated to Arizona with New Belgium Brewing. Later, she managed customers’ hop contracts over 12 states for Hopunion, LLC. Pete Velez, a friend and former Hopunion co-worker, pitched the idea of working for an Ohio brewery and she jumped at the chance. Tim Correnti

Production Assistant

Tim comes to Sibling Revelry from Chicago. He attended Purdue University, majoring in Economics and Supply Chain Management.  Tim’s introduction to craft beer was a pint of Three Floyds Gumballhead he had in his junior year.  This led to homebrewing in his college kitchen. Eventually he started his career as a sales intern at Revolution Brewing in Chicago.  When he found a posting about the start of a new brewery in Cleveland, he quickly applied and moved here to start a fulltime career in the craft beer industry.

Justin Brandley

Beer Ambassador

Justin, a native of Ohio, has over 10 years of sales experience in the grocery industry.  His love for craft beer began when he tasted his 1st glass of Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold in 2006.  Justin’s grocery career required him to travel the county extensively where he developed an appreciation for fine food and drink.  During this time, he developed his love for beer as he was able to sample regional brews from coast to coast.  When he saw the job posting for a sales opportunity with a new west side craft brewery, he jumped at the opportunity to combine his passion for great beer and his sales career. Justin enjoys following sports, playing golf, and spending time with his family in the kitchen cooking.

Maranda Milia

Beer Ambassador

Maranda, born and raised in Cleveland, is starting her craft beer career right here with us. With 5 years of sales experience, she recently graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Her passion and love for the industry stems from a deep rooted local level and her pride for the area. Maranda made it her goal to find her niche in the industry and frequently visited and toured many of the local breweries before she found herself a part of the Cleveland Brew Bus team. On the board of Muttley Crue Rescue, in her free time she's rescuing pitbulls. When she's not out selling SRB beer, you can probably find her enjoying one somewhere with her pup.
