SRB Taps Peach Wheat Dunkelweizen

Who says you can't brew a peach beer in October? Cap off Cleveland Beer Week with our Peach Wheat!

Like the unpredictable Cleveland weather, we like to throw a curveball here and there. As we gear up to release our new Oatmeal Stout and Winter Ale, this new release is a different take on what it means to be a fall seasonal.

We will be tapping our new Peach Wheat beer this Thursday, October 20th. This limited pilot release clocks in at 5.5% ABV and is rated at 15 IBUs. A darker wheat beer, this traditional German Dunkelweizen will be served in a standard wheat glass under the specialty price of $6/pint.

Starting as a traditional German Dunkelweizen, this wheat beer has less banana and clove characteristics of a Hefeweizen and more sweet caramel overtones. The addition of peach puree contributes to a fresh peach skin aroma and a dry, naturally carbonated finish. Malts used include Pilsner, Wheat, Caramel Wheat and Chocolate Wheat. Hops include Magnum and Saaz. Enjoy this light, summer-like favorite while the Cleveland weather warms up one last time!

Like all of our limited pilot releases, the Peach Wheat will only be available while supplies last. When it's gone, it's gone!
