Girls with Sole Fundraiser

We are partnering with Girls with Sole on August 23rd, and we will be donating a dollar from each pint sold to their program.

Girls with Sole uses free fitness and wellness programs to empower the minds, bodies and souls of girls who are at-risk or have experienced abuse of any kind. Their programs offer girls the opportunity to learn and enjoy fitness, as they develop the physical and emotional strength needed to meet personal goals.  Most of the girls feel they have lost, or have had taken from them, any power and control in their lives. The majority of girls are runners by nature. They have run from abusive homes, the police, and any, and all problems. They have run to substances, other abusive relationships, and prostitution.

Girls with Sole not only brings fitness, liveliness, self-esteem, and encouragement to these girls, it brings a purpose to their lives. Now they have a reason to run for themselves in a healthy way. They have been able to see a world outside of their own, where people are healthy, motivated, successful, friendly, and encouraging. Learning to set and accomplish goals, and developing their self-esteem creates a light that shines from within each girl that can lead them out of a dark place and into a bright future. At Girls with Sole they call this “Lacing Up for a Lifetime of Achievement.”
